Historic & Cultural Treasures

Classical music abounds in the city when The Lynchburg Symphony is in season. Comprised of the area's finest professional and amateur musicians this 20-year old organization offers a series of concerts each year which often feature nationally known soloists. Those who enjoy vocal music look to Opera on the James and the Jefferson Chorale Society both of which are more recent additions to the cultural scene.
