The City of Lynchburg Office of Economic Development and the Lynchburg Industrial Development Authority in conjunction with EntrepreneurshipWeekUSA invite you to compete for six months of free office space including heating/air conditioning, electricity, wireless connectivity, janitorial services, not to mention camaraderie and advice.

Eligible business ideas need to comply with the Technology Zone business definition in the 2006 Business Development Policy. Candidates will be asked to present ideas to a panel of judges. Awards shall be made in four categories:

  • We'd Like to Keep You - open to students currently enrolled at Liberty University, Lynchburg College, Randolph College, and Sweet Briar College
  • Please Come Home - open to students who are Lynchburg residents and currently enrolled in four year university or college outside of Lynchburg area
  • I'm on my Own - open to students currently enrolled at Central Virginia Community College
  • Now What Do I Do - open to recent (within one year) college students
