Lynchburg, VA-May 17, 2007--On May 17, 2007, Trainikins, Inc. will welcome to Lynchburg Mr. Akio Moro of IMI Co, Ltd., a Japanese medical device distributor with the exclusive rights to distribute CPR Teddy™ in Japan. Mr. Moro is visiting Trainikins to learn how to get this life-saving bear into as many homes as possible. Trainikins has recently completed the Japanese language versions of the voice prompts in the bear itself and the full-length training video that covers Infant and Child Choking Rescue and CPR, First Aid, and tips for Childproofing Your Home and Car. The product will launch in Japan in June.

During his stay in Lynchburg, Mr. Moro will be visiting Trainikins' warehouse and order fulfillment facility, Marketing Support Solutions, in Forest, VA. He will meet with the teachers at Peakland United Methodist Preschool to talk about their use of the bear to practice their CPR skills on a monthly basis. He will also visit the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Virginia Baptist Hospital to observe their use and distribution of CPR Teddy kits to parents taking babies home from the NICU.

Friday evening, Trainikins will host a reception for Mr. Moro at the Craddock Terry Gallery in the Riverviews Artspace building at 901 Jefferson St. (home of CPR Teddy). The event will be from 5-7pm and attendees may include Council Member Mike Gillette, City Manager Kim Payne, and representatives of Centra Health, Children's Miracle Network (a CPR Teddy partner), the Office of Economic Development, and the Small Business Development Center. At the reception, Trainikins will unveil its work on a new children's cartoon series featuring CPR Teddy™ which teaches children CPR, first aid, and injury prevention skills. Two local children, Mason and Parker Howard, will also perform for the first time ever the theme song for the CPR Teddy™ cartoon. The song was written by local musician and songwriter, Dana Ballard.

CPR Teddy™ is a non-threatening tool to practice and learn infant and child choking rescue and CPR skills. By squeezing the bear's paw, a voice reviews the steps for choking rescue and CPR before starting a two-minute practice session of those skills. A disposable mask and airbag lets users see if they are blowing the right amount into a baby's lungs. CPR Teddy™ comes with an infant and child CPR training DVD that provides information on CPR, choking rescue, first aid and childproofing homes and vehicles.

CPR Teddy was named an iParenting Media Award winner for two years in a row, was awarded Best Product by Orca Communications Unlimited, LLC in November 2006, and won the Family Choice Award for being one of the best in children's and parenting resources.

Trainikins, Inc. was incorporated in Virginia in July 2003 by Dr. Elroy Cantrell, a practicing emergency room physician, and his daughter, Melissa Waugh, a health care attorney, for the purpose of developing and manufacturing unique CPR practice aids to help people remember their skills long after taking a CPR class. Trainikins is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Elcare Innovations, Inc., which was also founded by Cantrell and Waugh. Elcare is a medical device research and development company.
