Health Care 101

Sparked by a desire to open lines of communication between business and the medical community, this meeting was the brainchild of Judy Berryman, Seven Hills Urology; and Bill Bodine, Plastic Surgery Associates of Lynchburg. It grew to become a collaborative effort between the Lynchburg Area Medical Managers Group, the City of Lynchburg Office of Economic Development, and the Lynchburg Industrial Development Authority. The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) local chapter participated, too, inviting their membership.
Over fifty employer representatives, medical practice managers, physicians, and others interested in health care trends came together to share, listen and learn at The City of Lynchburg Information Technology Conference Center. Box lunches were provided by the Orthopaedic Center of Central Virginia.
