Thomas Johnson Furniture Company and Banker Steel, LLC were notified today they are finalists in the Tayloe Murphy Resilience Award from the Darden School. This award goes to successful entrepreneurs in agriculture, manufacturing, retail, service and wholesale sectors who have demonstrated:
- 5 years of sustained growth
- Evidence of economic uplift in their local community
- That they are operating in the economically distressed communities (determined by census tracts)
